Food on July 4th

These appetizers were delicious. My friend, Charlotte made these yummy snacks.

Goat cheese coated with sunflower seeds and drizzled with honey was delicious. The raspberries and blueberries were good atop a cracker or toasted bread spread with goat cheese and added the perfect red and blue patriotic colors. Her cute whimsical decoration made it Pinterest material.
Watermelon and cheese stars topped with blueberries were so refreshing.
It was fun to have guests to celebrate the Fourth and enjoy festive food. Nice for me that my guests helped with the food.
Fresh tomato and avocado slices with caramelized onions topped with blue brie cheese made such a thick burger it was a challenge to eat. Sides were baked beans and sweet potato fries. We were so full no one wanted dessert!

This was our table for our meal. View other views here.

We enjoyed fireworks over the lake near our house after dinner. Everyone expressed their thankfulness to live in such a wonderful country. God has blessed us tremendously and I ask Him to continue to stand beside us and guide us.
