Homemade pizza on the Green Egg

We recently enjoyed delicious homemade pizza at my daughter's house.

Ingredients : Purchased pizza dough from Publix. It is very reasonable. Ground lamb, Bertolli marinara sauce, capers, garam marsala, sundried tomatoes, shallots, cilantro and olive oil.
Ground lamb.

Chimichurri sauce.
Add marinara sauce.
Then mozzarello cheese and ground lamb with seasonings.

Placed on pizza brick and cooked by my son-in-law. It was exceptional!

Viola, it is ready and finished with her chimichurri sauce. We love going to their house because they are great cooks.

Amazing Grace was the name of her blog that some of you may remember. I watermarked the pics because all the work is hers except the photography. She would do better and may kill me for putting her stamp on my pics.  I became interested in blogging because of her experience. She is very busy now with home schooling and her new love of tennis and no longer blogs.

This is my husband's favorite soup called cabbage patch soup. It is that time of year when you want a hot bowl of soup and a slice of buttery toasted bread. For the recipe

Fall Scenes from my House

The mums are blooming and the leaves are falling.

The cooler air gets me in the mood to bake. I finally made Ann Drake's apple walnut bread found here and it didn't last long.

On a funny note... this pic was made last Dec 4th. I was ready to decorate for Christmas and couldn't stand to throw away all my pumpkins so I gathered them together for an outside photo. Then I put them deep in the back of my natural area and finally threw them away unchanged in early March. Last winter was extremely mild.
