You are invited to a blog hop next week.

Join me and 21 other bloggers next week for a Spring Tablescape blog hop. Chloe Crabtree @Celebrate and Decorate is sponsoring this fun event. I will be posting on Tuesday. The schedule is listed below so please join in all the fun next week beginning on Monday.

Hope everyone is having a great week. I've had my grandchildren part of this week during their spring break.
Can You believe the temperatures? It got down to 29 at my house last night! I am distressed my hydrangeas won't bloom this year. My garden is full of every tarp, sheet, blanket, comforter and beach towel that I own trying to cover just a few hydrangeas. Not sure it will help but I had to try.
It's been a roller coaster with the temps. It's been like March all of February and now we are having February weather after all the hydrangea  bushes have leafed out.
Have a great day. Happy Thursday!

  1. The temps at my house was around 25 last night. CRAZY! But I will probably be wanting some of those lower temps come July and August! LOL! Awe...I bet you had fun with the grands! Nothing like them. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  2. Hi Bonnie, I gave up on sheets and blankets after missing the first round of freezing temps when we were out of town. I'm afraid the damage is done to the hydrangeas but hope springs eternal! See you next week :)

  3. Oh, that will be loads of fun!

I think your hydrangeas might be OK -- We've had that frozen cold before after the budding and somehow have ended up ok. At least I hope so... we were traveling in the wind, missed the blizzard coming home and now freezing cold! I want my spring thing!

  4. Hydrangeas are hardy, hopefully they will be fine. It's been the same here, summer one day, winter next. I don't mind the cold, it's the cold rain I dread, but then it's March. Look forward to the blog hop.
    Happy weekend.......

  5. Most of our hydrangeas didn't survive last summer's drought. We have a lot to do and replace! This weather and time change is getting me down....

Have a blessed St. Patrick's Day!
