A Fall Ride out in the Country

Have you ever seen more beautiful cotton? This huge field is in front of a friend's home.

My friend allowed me to cut some branches for fall decorating. I will show pics in a later post.

I stopped all along County Road 606 and throughly enjoyed the fall scenes and the gorgeous sunset.

  1. Good thing you had your camera with you as I would have not wanted to miss sharing your outing. The cotton looks very ready to pick, not a job I would want to have for longer than a few minutes. Time is winding down here and I'm doing my best to enjoy every minute. No cotton in this neck of the woods!

  8. Hi Bonnie,

Thanks for visiting my blog and taking time to leave a comment. Those mean so much. :) I LOVE your photos! I haven't seen a cotton field since I went on a field trip with our son when he was 4 yrs. old. Your goldenrod and cattail pics are great; and my husband and I just love to see those pretty hay rolls in the meadows along the side of the road. Thanks so much for sharing.

I'm your newest follower. Would you consider being a follower on my blog -- I'd be honored.
