Finches descend!

I could see many others darting back and forth in my backyard. They fly in and out very quickly.

One bluebird was in the birdbath with the finches but by the time I got my camera he was gone. I am leaving my stool and camera by the window with the shutters open.
After publishing this post I learned these birds are Cedar Waxwings instead of Finches.

  3. It is odd they all decided to stop off at your place for a drink. They probably ran the bluebird off.

  8. We have those here too, they usually eat up the red berries on our possum-haw but this year they haven't touched it. I love to hear them singing in the tree-tops.
    Happy Outdoor Wednesday!!
