My MIL has these Zinnia dishes at their beach house, so I get to use them about every summer. They really are fun and cheerful! They're made by Metlox aren't they? Anyway, she has a lot of pieces because we used to have pretty big crowds at the beach house. She has that very same butter dish, which I think is so cute, and the salt and pepper shakers too. :)

I love the Shawnee corn pieces you have!! I'm not sure if I've seen those before, but I love to eat corn, so I should probably look into finding some of these. ;) They coordinate perfectly with the Zinnia dishes and your green goblets. This really is a pretty and cheerful farewell to summer table, my friend. Those faux zinnias are just gorgeous!! I used to have some for years that remind me of yours; mine were made of wood, and they were a gift from my MIL. They finally got messed up and I had to get rid of them; your pictures make me wish I still had them.

Thanks so much for your visit, Bonnie, and have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,

DeniseDenise at Forest Manorhttp://houseatforestmanor.blogspot.com/2014/08/farewell-to-summer.htmlnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3018159781509450916.post-73542712462007340062014-08-28T09:27:37.769-05:002014-08-28T09:27:37.769-05:00Everything is charming.
