Christmas at my house

Merry Christmas from our house to yours. May the glow of lights and decorations welcome you and warm your hearts as we celebrate the joy of Christmas.

My mother painted this ceramic Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus. I didn't realize it but she wrote her name and the date on the bottom of each piece. They are dated 1970.

I even decorate the bathrooms.

Our tree is filled with 46 years of memories!

Giving is a joy and isn't it awesome when you know the person receiving your gift really liked it!

My granddaughters like having their own little Eiffel Towers.

The vintage Christmas Carol songbook was my mothers and is very meaningful to me. I love it's beautiful illustrations. The caroler music box plays Silent Night. It was purchased many years ago in Columbus, Georgia, while my husband was stationed at Fort Benning.

The Flight to Egypt Goebel figurine grouping was a surprise gift from my husband. He found it on Ebay for me. It says 1961 on the bottom. I love them.

  15. Bonnie, the exterior of your home is truly magical, it is so inviting, it welcomes you to come in! Immediately it is evident of the sweet, sweet Spirit that dwells within your hearts and home. Your beautiful collection of nativities are truly the centerpiece of your Christmas decor, and without the manger there would be no Christmas! I love the one your Mother painted in 1970, what a priceless treasure. The LladrĂ³ is exquisite and the Flight to Egypt by Goebel is equally beautiful! Your mantel and tree are perfectly gorgeous. Oh how I would love that vintage Christmas Carol songbook, another precious keepsake! And last but not least I always love Byers Carolers! Fabulous job, my dear friend!

  20. How meaningful to decorate your home with ornaments that represent the true "reason for the season" and each nativity display is so unique and lovely in its own way. Very special also to have items that belonged to your mother and no doubt, have fond memories attached to them. I really enjoyed seeing the outside of your home all lit up for Christmas - so pretty! The last pic with the carolers under that beautiful mirror with the boxwood wreath shows a fantastic display - well done! So enjoyed my stop here on the Blog Hop!

The Christmas song book on your piano brought back some wonderful memories of one we had that was very similar but for the organ. I used to play and sing all those songs over and over again. You have some very special nativity sets, how wonderful to show them all off. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us on the hop!!
